About Us – CC Believe Team

We are a creative and interdisciplinary team brought together by a shared conviction: Climate Change is real, and young people deserve better tools to understand it.

Our partnership combines the strengths of two very different but complementary institutions:

5Klepek (Poland) – a small, agile company with a talent for designing engaging educational games,

and

University of the Basque Country – UPV/EHU (Spain) – a respected research institution with deep expertise in science education and Climate Change communication.

Together, we created the CC Believe project – a 22-month Erasmus+ initiative aiming to bridge the gap between science and youth culture through an educational board game enhanced with Augmented Reality (AR). Our goal? To build a learning experience that’s interactive, intelligent, and relevant to how young people actually consume and process information today.

The game invites players to take on real-world climate topics – from electric cars to forest fires – while building analytical skills, media literacy, and critical thinking. As misinformation and fake news become increasingly common, especially around climate issues, we believe education must evolve. That’s why we’re turning learning into an active game, not a passive lecture.

We are driven by a belief that learning should be immersive, technology can be a force for good, and young people – if given the right tools – will be ready to lead the way in shaping a more sustainable and informed world.

This is not just a game. This is a training ground for future decision-makers.

Let’s play smart.
