ECOmpetence4You is an educational board game for Youth, drawing attention to the issues of climate change, which dominate the economic space around the World, and that the European Union focus particular attention.
The aim of the game is to increase the professional competences of young people to interpret the Circular Economy, which are currently an important trend in business. The game therefore focuses on the economic approach by showing Circular Business Models in various industries. There will be numerous examples of companies that, despite the rising costs of ecology, have found a way to make money. These are potential future working places for Youth, but also important reasons to take contemporary trends into account when making educational or professional choices.
The educational content was linked to the element of competition between teams, solving challenges, answering questions and making strategic decisions in the game. The main element is a board in the form of a City Map with hidden tasks. By using Credits and City Cards, players go on a race around the city – success comes from collecting the right navigation data.
