ABOUT THE GAME
ECOmpetence4You is modern game in the frame of practical education in groups and classrooms, built on the basis of theory of games - teaching the competences of youth to understand the business models that fighting with climate change. From practical perspective business environment, for years now, has created many different models and approaches, that are identified now as 5 Circular Business Model:

The general goal of the project was to transfer the theory and practice of aforementioned models into playing process with special attention on "creation of professional competences" and "understanding climate change prevention" of youth.
Creation of professional competences is understood as understanding business models, their elements, areas related to environmental impact, ability to seek economic knowledge, ability to interpret trends in professions and education opportunities consistent with trends, the ability to seek information important in future educational and professional decisions.
Understanding climate change prevention works as combined aspects of business models and climate change, and focus on: cases linked to Sustainable Development Goals, cases how it is possible to reduce the footprint of economic activity on the environment through modern technologies, business understanding of climate change and their connections with economic activity.
Both aspects, are embedded in numerous examples of circular companies and solutions linked with real economic world, that are now elements of the Game. Together with other elements, they create the tool to rise youth competences in modern and easy to use way. We hope, that ECOmpetence4you game become useful tool for many Teachers and Educators that are active in informal education in Erasmus Countries. We wish all fruitful lecture and successful gameplays.
MANUALS
ECOmpetence4You is a game combining aspects of competition - defined in the rules and methodology of the game, with elements of youth education. Connection of these two approaches requires the initiator to prepare the game: choosing od defining a scenario, selecting optional game elements, defining the rules of the game, and choosing the substantive scope for a given game. Following instruction will support the Moderator/Mentor to obtain the goal.
Technical perspective of gaming
ECOmpetence4You is board game with dedicated IT tool, that consist numerous elements, partly printable and partly available online. In order to play the game it is important to prepare all necessary elements, print or define electronic version and define rules that will be connected to the playing process.

Educational perspective of gaming
As ECOmpetence4You is the educational game, so some elements of the methodology are connected with knowledge about Circular Business Models. For that purpose there are about 60 different case studies of companies all over the World, that use Circular Business Models in their business activity. During single game it is expected to study from 10 to 20 cases – depends from chosen scenario and playing time.
Key success factor of the playing process is supporting players with knowledge about Circular Business Models. Without that data, playing activities will become the process of defining random answers and in fact huge risk of wrong interpretation of Business Models. To avoid that situation, the presentation and dedicated clarifications about Circular Business Models was prepared. It is recommended that the Moderator adds pictures visualizing each Circular Business Model (in the dedicated space in the presentation) - that will became its interpretation of the models and will be used by him in education process.
Finally Moderator decides if the materials are distributed before game or presented as a element of Game Rules.
